Today we wrap up the 3️⃣ part series of how to buy a home 🏡 in California and in this episode we are covering the topic I get the most questions about, ESCROW.

Over the last two weeks, I talked about creating a budget💰 for homeownership, how to search 🔎 for a home during Covid, and how to place competitive offers 📄 to give yourself the best chance of getting your offer accepted🎉. So if you haven’t already checked those out I highly recommend you do so, especially if you are a first time home buyer.

Today we will be going over the entire escrow process from the day you open escrow, to the day to get the keys handed to you and you officially become a homeowner. Some of the topics I will cover today include:

What paperwork to expect

What are contingencies

Inspections

Repair Requests

Appraisals

Working with your lender to get the deal closed

What happens on closing day

If you haven’t gone through escrow before it can be a bit intimidating 🤷🏼‍♂️, hopefully this will give you a better understanding of the entire process so when the time comes, and you are ready to start your search 🔍 for your new home 🏠, you’ll feel more prepared and can go into it knowing what to expect.
